I bought 16 strawberry plants at the local market, in spring 2008, and I planted them out in a well fertilized bed, covered with a plastic film with holes, at the end of the vegetable garden, near a country hedge. In late summer I’ve propagated plants using their stolons. Now there are two strawberry beds, and I think that I’ll continue with this method.
