LindaMae's Lemon Grass

We were in Norfolk last week and went to the excellent market in Fakenham on the thursday. If ever you’re in the area, you must go – a really good local, central market, with lovely friendly people. It helped that it was a beautiful sunny breezy energetic day. I had thought before about trying to grow lemon grass from seed, mainly because you never find it as small plants and it’s really expensive to buy, but as is my habit I hadn’t quite got round to it, and I found 2 plants 80p each on a really well stocked plant stall so am giving it a try. Keeping it outside for the minute, in one of the lovely square oriental pots that we bought a while ago and couldn’t quite find anything for. It will have to come in for the winter.
