Vera_eastern_wa's Bush Bean 'Blue Lake'

Seed was sown using the wintersow (springsow) method outdoors in covered container. Containers chosen were (2) 4-celled pony packs inserted into gallon size ziplock with holes for both drainage and ventilation. Seed began germination by May 15th.
This is not my first year using this method of sowing vegetable seeds, however it is my first with beans. For back up I have also direct sowed about 20 seed in a block on May 21st and germination started as of May 26th. Seed bed has been covered with straw to keep surface moist.
