Plant: clematis (Clematis) | Day 186 | 1 | Happy

Had been cut all the way to the ground when I moved in, and was a big surprise in the spring. Needs a taller trellis, but it’s got a big sturdy rose to climb on, too. It’s so plain, but striking in the size of the flowers, about 9" across.

    It honestly reminds me of a white version of a clemantis. My grandmother had the purple version growing everywhere there was something for it to climb on.
