I have planted these, a little late. The pamphlet said “plant before 1 october” and its now 24 october.

I made a cage of chicken wire, filled it with sugarcane mulch, added composty soil.

Then I placed 6 of the tubers, then covered with a bit more soil and more sugarcane mulch. I squirted fish/chicken liquid fertilizer all the way and hosed it down mightily.

I planted 2 of the tubers in their own “green bag” shopping bag filled with well mulched compost. Woo.

They are all above-ground because I doubt my ability to dig potatoes out of our clay soil.
