This is a variegated Jacob’s Ladder, with a stronger and more reliable habit than other selections, and more free to flower. Plants form a low mound of ferny dark-green foliage, each leaflet edged in creamy-white. Taller stems of rich violet-blue flowers put on a grand show in early summer. Fragrant. In regions with hot, humid summer this plant will appreciate protection from the afternoon sun. Terrific when used towards the front of the border, in the woodland or in containers and tubs.
