I have been coveting this particular daylily for a couple of years and my mother-in-law bought it for me in March 2009. It has performed beautifully, a vigourous grower with gorgeous flowers. One seed pod set, I plan to try and start the seeds in the spring. May be a failure, but at least it’s fun.
Gave Mariah a small division March 25, 2010.

There are showier daylilies, but this was just the perfect size (maybe 28" tall) and colour (real ruby red with a lime throat) for my garden. Pod fertile, so easy to breed, which is fun for beginners.
