Heritage Bean Mix ($3.50)

A mix of the top eleven dry beans grown at the Salt Spring Centre in 2008. They are Six Nations, Black Coco, Nez Perce, Ireland Creek Annie, Ruckle, Jacob’s Cattle, Red Hawk Kidney, Molasses Face, Orca, Brown Pinto and Montezuma Red. Delightful cornucopia of colours and patterns.

This Variety:
90 days. Rectangular, buff and brown-mottled beans. Spicy flavour. Short cooking time.
