    Saved 5 Shallots 'Dutch Yellow' Harvesting and Party in the Back garden
    The raised beds were largely destroyed yesterday. I went and pulled these out before that happened. Haven’t eaten them yet so I have no reports.

    Guessing 1 Shallots 'Dutch Yellow' Sprouting and Party in the Back garden
    It’s the 20th today and I finally saw the sprouts I was looking for. But they’re big enough that they must have sprouted before. I didn’t notice them because I was expecting them to look the way garlic does when it comes up (they don’t). So I’m guessing.

    Don’t know if it’s too late. At least with shallots you can eat them small. I decided to put them near the Giant Vetch in the southwestern raised bed. I try to plant the Allium crops in the very center of the raised beds because the beds are big enough to have accessibility problems. ...
