If sowing directly, aim to sow 0.2 inches (0.5 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 1.95 inches (5.0 cm).

Chili pepper normally reaches to a mature height of 1.49 feet [imperial: 45.72 cm] so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.

Your garden has partial sun light - try to position in a full sun location instead.

Your garden has combination soil: try to position in a loam soil for the best result.

Remember to water moderately.

Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (6) is within the ideal range for Chili pepper. The recommended range is between Zone 5 and 12.

A soil ph of between 7.0 and 8.5 is ideal for Chili pepper as it does best in neutral to alkaline soil so test your soil acidity often.

Chili pepper tends to be susceptible to Bacterial Leaf Rot, Tobacco Mosaic Virus, Aphids, White Fly, and Nematodes so keep a note of any developing symptoms.
