Rainy 13°C / 55°FHarvested the last of the chilis today – there are quite a few, so I’m trying to figure out what to do with them all. Going to pot up the chili plant into a pot and stick it on the windowsill for the winter.

Sunny 16°C / 61°FThe prairie fires have produced prolifically for both years running – now I have my first handful of chilis for this year. Not quite sure how to use them still as they are unbelievably hot, I might have a go at drying them out this year instead of using fresh.

They weren’t kidding when they wrote that this chili grows prolifically – there are hundreds of the little things now – with more blossoming every day. It’s such a nice little plant (its only a about 10 cm high or so). Even if I don’t get to eating many of the chilis...
