From Seed Packet -
Spinacea oleracea
Planting: Sow seed as soon as the soil can be worked, while the weather is still cool. Plant again in late summer for a fall crop. Spinach prefer rich, well-drained soil. Plant seeds 3/4 inch deep and 2-3 inches apart in rows 12 inches apart. Germination should take place in 6-14 days.
Care: Cultivate or mulch to reduce weeds. Water well during dry weather. After seedlings grow 2 inches tall, thin so plants are 4-6 inches apart. Thinnings can be used a tender salad or boiling greens.
Harvest: Begin harvest with the largest plants, cutting them off at ground level. This variety produces huge, smooth dark green leaves with fine flavor.
Days to maturity: 43
