jacqueline's Ginger

Inspired by a forum thread on YGG, each time I use ginger I decided to keep a piece that includes a bud. I now have three pieces in a shallow dish of water and the buds are looking healthy and are growing just a little bit.

I’ll plant them out in the garden or a pot once the outside temperature is not hovering around 40 deg C.

I planted these tubers in the orange pot near where we tend to sit so I can keep an eye on them.
