Murray's Indoor Strawberries

Plant: Classify me! | 0 |

I find strawberries easy to grow but hard to protect from the birds who eat the fruit before it’s ready. Solution? Grow them in containers that can be moved around or indoors. Right now I have two troughs containing 3 strawberry plants each growing on the windowsill. They seem to appreciate the extra warmth indoors and the fruit is safe from the robbing birds.
One trough is fruiting right now while the other is just flowering.
