Try for a seed spacing of at approx. 0.2 inches (0.5 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.1 inches (0.25 cm) if planning to sow direct.
Hollyhock normally tends to reach to a mature height of 1.52 metres [imperial: 4.94 feet] so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
Remember to water moderately.
Hollyhock problems include Rust, so keep a close eye out for any developing symptoms.
