Cremmy18's "Sugar Snap Peas" x 12 Harvesting
Plant: Snap pea (Pisum sativum var. macrocarpon) | Variety: Super Sugar Snap

Having very little knowledge of true farming or how to properly grow peas, we pretty much scattered an entire packet of sweet pea seeds on one section of our lower garden. Well, a week or so later, a giant mass of peas began to form, not too long after, needing strings and stakes to hold it up! It produces around 3-4lbs of whole peas (shells and all), maybe 1.5-2lbs of actual edible shucked peas. They were really delicious, you just couldn’t really enjoy their pods. We have been having a horribly dry summer thus far, and I think that despite all of our watering, they died prematurely.
