Earlier in the season, the leaves have a darker blue center and a thick creamy white margin. Mid season the margins bleach to white (with appropriate sunlight) and the center of the leaves turn a blue-green hue. Lavender flowers show in mid-summer. A showy, variegated sport of the old favorite, H. ‘Halcyon’.
