littleowl's Corn Care Instructions
If sowing directly, sow at a depth of approx. 1.17 inches (3.0 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 7.8 inches (20.0 cm) between Sweet corn plants.
Sweet corn normally tends to reach to a mature height of 2.00 metres [imperial: 6.50 feet] so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
Your garden has full sun light which is ideal for Sweet corn.
Remember to water often.
Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (8b) is within the ideal range for Sweet corn. The recommended range is between Zone 3 and 11.
Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.5 and 7.5 as Sweet corn likes to be in acidic to alkaline soil.
Common Sweet corn problems include Earworms (corn), European corn borer, Army Worms, and Corn Smut, so keep a close eye out for any developing symptoms.
