If sowing directly, aim to sow 0.51 inches (1.3 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 0.98 inches (2.5 cm).
Chives normally tends to reach to a mature height of 45.0 cm [imperial: 1.46 feet] so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
Your garden has partial sun light - try to position in a full sun location instead.
Remember to water moderately.
Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (7b) is within the ideal range for Chives. The recommended range is between Zone 3 and 9.
A soil ph of between 5.2 and 8.3 is ideal for Chives as it does best in acidic to alkaline soil so test your soil acidity often.
