Tarafina's Tarafina x 1 Sown
Plant: Classify me! |
The Comfrey is already blooming. I noticed today that the borage that I planted with the first of my harden off tomatoes is small but also blooming. I moved the celery that had over wintered into a container with the same soil it over wintered in. The stray potatoes that got loose from last years crop are starting to spout up. I am half tempted to leave them as The containers and soil that they were in previously has been moved and they are in completely different placement from the last several years.
The horehound, lemon verbena, star jasmine, and salvia plants wintered over in the plastic cover that was created over the pond and healing garden.
I saw the first signs of the echinacea coming back as well and the borage and calendula that re seeded itself in the container with the dwarf weeping cherry.
The black lace and variegated elderberry are starting to bloom. The blueberry plants are blooming. I am happy that a number of different plants are flowering and I am starting to see the bumble bees come out. I have not seen the mason bees yet.
The ground raspberry that is suppose to be native to this area is growing well. I have to be careful, despite what I was told about it not creating runners, it does. It does transplant nicely unlike artichokes who get all limpy.
I am hoping to get my camera up and working to take pictures soon.
