DirtGently's Tomato Beefsteak 2010 Care Instructions

If sowing directly, aim to sow 0.78 inches (2.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 2.60 feet (80.0 cm).

Tomato 'Beefsteak' normally tends to reach to a mature height of 1.82 metres [imperial: 5.92 feet] so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.

Your garden has fluorescent light - try to position in a full sun location instead.

Remember to water moderately.

Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (5a) is within the ideal range for Tomato 'Beefsteak'. The recommended range is between Zone 3 and 14.

A soil ph of between 5.0 and 6.0 is ideal for Tomato 'Beefsteak' as it does best in acidic soil so test your soil acidity often.

Tomato 'Beefsteak' tends to be susceptible to Bacterial Speck, Bacterial Spot, Bacterial Canker, Verticillium Wilt, and Early Blight so keep a note of any developing symptoms.
