Look to ensure a distance 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - cover at a depth of at least 0.23 inches (0.6 cm) deep if you are going to sow this directly in the garden.

Carrot 'Purple Haze' normally tends to reach to a mature height of 15.0 cm [imperial: 5.85 inches] so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.

Remember to water often.

Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (9) is within the ideal range for Carrot 'Purple Haze'. The recommended range is between Zone 3 and 11.

Ensure your soil has a ph of between 5.5 and 7.0 as Carrot 'Purple Haze' is a acidic to neutral soil loving plant.

Keep an eye out for these common Carrot problems: Cucumber Mosaic Virus, Carrot Fly, Bacterial Leaf Blight, Bacterial soft rot, and Carrot bacteriosis.
