If sowing directly, aim to sow 0.78 inches (2.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm).
Sponge luffa normally tends to reach to a mature height of 3.00 metres [imperial: 9.75 feet] so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
