If sowing directly, aim to sow 0.49 inches (1.25 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 5.85 inches (15.0 cm).
Lettuce 'Mesclun' normally tends to reach to a mature height of 20.0 cm [imperial: 7.8 inches] so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
