These are wild black raspberries growing along the edge of the community, or possibly feral black raspberries left over from when this was a farmstead.
I’ve picked the fruit off of these for the past 2 years, never really getting more than a quart, so this year (2012) I’m going to try pruning them and see if that makes a difference in how much fruit they produce.
