Look to ensure a distance 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) between seeds when sowing - cover at a depth of at least 0.51 inches (1.3 cm) deep if you are going to sow this directly in the garden.
Chives normally grows to a mature height of 45.0 cm (that's 1.46 feet imperial) so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
