14 Aug 2008Bolted: All except one. Chinese Cabbage and Smurfie's Square Foot gardenI’m so very sad. Went to check the garden today and upon closer inspection, all of the Chinese Cabbage had little flowers coming out, except for one. Booooo. I keep reading about bolting but it doesn’t really describe what it does. So when I bought the plants, I thought it’ll be nice to buy the one w/ the flower in it as that means it’s growing. Bought and purchased 6 chinese cabbage. Not buying stuff next time as 6 cabbages are just too many.
Planted it 1 per square feet.
