Climate; Semi aris to warm temperate
Throughout Australia on inland plains.
Growing to 4-5m with spiny thorns on its branches, this Acacia has dense foliage and pale yellow balls of flowers in spring and summer. Pods turn brown in summer when they are mature.
Sow after heat treatment (pour boiling water over and leave to soak for 24 hrs)
Plant in good potting mix and add additional fertilisers Seeds germinate in 1-2 weeks and grow rapidly.
Collect and grind seeds after 3-4 years . Tasty .
