If sowing directly, sow at a depth of approx. 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 3.90 feet (1.20 metres) between Winter squash plants.

Despite there didn’t seem to be many fruits on those plants by medium august, the final harvest can be called at least satisfying!

Definitely a keeper… Although the plants started producing late (due to our bad, bad summer), we had a good harvest (22 fruits/4plants) of rather small squashes with an agreable tast.
