I have sown this lettuce in a few places this week.
I’ve sprinkled a row of seed in one of the vegetable garden beds, hoping it will establish and self sow to replace my supply of self-sown salad plants, that was annihilated by our chooks when they took over the vege garden in the ‘pre-fence era’.
I just love the name of this lettuce variety and it grows well here. Tastes good too! What more could I ask?

I believe it is an Italian variety also known as ‘Ubriacona Frastagliata’. I’d grow it for the name alone!
