Look to ensure a distance 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) between Daylily seeds when sowing to make sure your seedlings have enough space.
Daylily normally grows to a mature height of 1.00 metres (that's 3.25 feet imperial) so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
Your garden has full sun light which is ideal for Daylily.
Try to apply water fairly sparingly.
Daylily ideally needs a soil ph of 6.0 to 7.0 (acidic to neutral soil), so check your soil acidity regularily.
Daylily problems include Leaf streak is sometimes mistaken for rust but can be treated with a fungicide safe for daylilies. It is visually disfiguring but not fatal. and Thrips particularly like some varieties of daylilies., so keep a close eye out for any developing symptoms.
