These have just appeared… promisingly, there are masses of buds! I wonder what colour they’ll be?
I’ve got a very soft spot for tarty,frilly, Oriental Poppies… I’ve been trying to transplant some from Viv’s garden for as long as I can remember, but (for reasons unknown), they keep dying!
The delicate tissue-paper flowers, in everything from the softest pastel pink to the most brazen scarlet, surrounding that saucy ebony throat: What’s not to adore?
