ETA 11/20/11: The strawberries seem to like their new home since they’re sprouting out of dormancy.
6/27/12: Not happy with these strawberries. Nothing truly extraordinary about the taste. And, it’s not really beneficial to me to have 3 or 4 strawberries per day anyway. I would need to have a lot more in order to see a real benefit to the cost of water/land usage to food ratio. They were burning up in the hot Arkansas sun. My mother won’t be happy, but I pulled them up.

If sowing directly, aim to sow 0.0 inches (0.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm).
Strawberry 'Seascape' normally grows to a mature height of 20.0 cm (that's 7.8 inches imperial) so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
