Planted one Spiraea Bridalwreath in 2007. Flowers in the Spring. It is a great plant.Planted second one in 2010. Also called ‘Renassance spirea’
History
The vanhouttei hybrids were developed in France from two Chinese species, S. cantoniensis and S. trilobata. The first of these hybrids was named for Louis VanHoutte, the belgian horticulturist and publisher of Flore De Serres. ‘Renaissance’ is a late 20th century variety developed and introduced by Bailey Nursery of St. Paul, Minnesota
