epersonae's Pumpkin patch

A little while ago, C razed our old veggie garden, which had pretty much turned into a midden/compost heap. Among the ruins was last year’s Halloween pumpkin. (From the grocery store?) It was pretty cool: had gotten hard like a gourd, and cracked open. Some of the seeds must’ve stayed behind when the spot was leveled, because later I found an incredible quantity of seedlings. I’m hoping we’ll have pumpkins for Halloween, although I have no idea what type they are.
