This plant volunteered in the compost of a pot on the verandah.
I have now transplanted it to the northern bed of the Rainwater Tank Garden.

Common purslane normally grows to a mature height of 15.2 cm (that's 5.93 inches imperial) so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
Your garden has full sun light which is ideal for Common purslane.
Remember to water Common purslane water very sparingly.
Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (11) is within the ideal range for Common purslane. The recommended range is between Zone 7 and 11.
Common purslane ideally needs a soil ph of 6.1 to 7.8 (acidic to alkaline soil), so check your soil acidity regularily.
