It’s a little late to be starting these, but I’m going to give it a shot anyway.

A juicy, delicious, sweet onion. A 3-4 inch , mild onion with yellow skin and white flesh. A cold-hardy variety. Long day type.

Location: Full sun after all danger of frost
Sow: 1/2 – 1 inch deep, space rows 18inches
Thin: to 4-6 inches apart; resow thinned plants
Germination: 10-14 days
Harvest: 110-125 days for mature bulbs; 56-60 days for smaller bulbs

Start indoors in fertile, moist soil enriched with compost. Onions ward off many insect pests around lettuce, cabbage and carrots.
