Transplanted on 3/20/11 into a “gritty mix” from a recipe I found on Gardenweb: equal parts pine bark fines, pelletized diatomaceous earth and pea gravel/decomposed granite, amended with bone meal, blood meal, garden lime, soft rock phosphate, and TX greensand.

Fertilized with earthworm castings and Garden-Tone/Plant-Tone at planting, either watered or foliar-fed once a week with diluted seaweed extract and emulsified fish fertilizer, and fertilized with organic fertilizer once a month.
