I bought these at the Groningen ‘flower markt’ – every year on Good Friday, if you ever get a chance to visit, do! – in April. They look very nice and healthy, although they haven’t produced any flowers (and therefore no artichokes..) this year. But I think that’s pretty normal, since they are perennials. So, I’m not worried yet, and expect to be eating lots of artichokes next summer :)
