glittertrash's Daisies

Plant: Common Daisy (Bellis perennis) | 0 |

These daisies come from cuttings of my mum’s plants, and they’ve filled in nicely. This side bed of the front yard was completely bare & barren when I moved in, and is filled with rocks, clay, old pipes, glass & general industrial debris. I’m impressed that anything has survived down here, but these daisies are doing really well. I’m waiting on some more cuttings to mature to fill in the gaps (pink daisies this time) and we also have some grevilleas growing along here, and doing reasonably well.

I have a hard time putting too much heart & soul into this bit of the garden though because every time I weed or clean it up I come out & someone’s thrown beer bottles, McDonald’s wrappers, condoms or newspapers into it. The same goes for the whole front yard, but it happens to this bed the most.
