Transplanted the week of 3/20/11 into a “gritty mix” from a recipe I found on Gardenweb: equal parts pine bark fines, pelletized diatomaceous earth and pea gravel, amended with bone meal, blood meal, garden lime, soft rock phosphate, fertilized with earthworm castings and Garden-Tone at planting, and watered or foliar fed twice a month with diluted seaweed extract and emulsified fish fertilizer.
