poppyde's Salt Bush (native, local, bush-tucker) x 1 Sown

Not normally grown as a garden plant. This grows locally in the wild so why not grow it. The fruits are only tiny and hollow and my granddaughter likes them as they are easily collected and pop in you mouth like rice-bubbles!
Also eaten by native crested pigeons and the seeds are spread around by ants.
