Garrett's Poblano Care Instructions

Look to ensure a distance 1.95 inches (5.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - cover at a depth of at least 0.2 inches (0.5 cm) deep if you are going to sow this directly in the garden.

Chili pepper 'Poblano' normally grows to a mature height of 63.0 cm (that's 2.05 feet imperial) so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.

Your garden is in partial sun light: plant in a location that enjoys full sun.

Your garden has combination soil - try to plant this plant in loam soil if possible for best results.

Remember to water moderately.

Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (7b) is not within the ideal known range for Chili pepper 'Poblano'. The recommended range is between Zone 10 and 12. You may have to reassess this planting for suitability in your garden.

Chili pepper 'Poblano' tends to grow best in a soil ph of between 7.0 and 8.5 meaning it does best in neutral to alkaline soil.

Common Chili pepper problems include Nematodes, White Fly, Aphids, Tobacco Mosaic Virus, and Bacterial Leaf Rot, so keep a close eye out for any developing symptoms.
