tbuser's Hosta Tree Ring

Plant: Hosta (Hosta) | 0 | Happy

Cleared a ring out around one of the trees out back about 3 years ago and transplanted various hostas around it. These were some of the first ones we planted and despite the fact that the soil is full of rocks and giant roots from the trees, they managed to survive and keep coming back every year. I’m not sure exactly what type they are.

This year when I was clearing out a spot for my compost bin, I dug up all these rocks and put them to good use. (like I said our soil is very rocky and mostly clay) Felt like I was building stonehenge carrying all those damn rocks.
