puu's old pine

another of Grandpa Les’s trees. not absolutely sure of the species, as my grandma only knows it as a Himalayan pine. not a terribly useful tree, as far as I can tell, unless we need some turpentine. maybe it will make good firewood some day. it does provide some nice shade and it’s all contorted and nice to look at. blackberries killed a pretty substantial chunk of it before we let Baby the goat loose on them. tree’s doing better now, and Baby uses the trunk to scratch.
