“Plants mature 69 days from germination. An early type Cabbage easily grown. Heads are round, medium in size and sold, weighing about 3.5 lbs and being 6-7” across. Best when used fresh.
Planting and Care:
Start plants indoors about 4-6 weeks before transplant time. Sow in flats or pots keeping the young plants at least an inch apart. Transplant to prepared garden after danger of frost is past. Space 12-18" apart in rows 2.5-3: apart. Cabbages are shallow rooted and may need water during hot, dry spells. Care should be used in weeding or cultivating so as not to damage plants.
