If sowing directly, sow at a depth of approx. 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm) between Bean plants.
Bean 'Early Contender' normally grows to a mature height of 40.0 cm (that's 1.30 feet imperial) so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
