If sowing directly, sow at a depth of approx. 0.49 inches (1.25 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 5.85 inches (15.0 cm) between Butterhead lettuce plants.

Butterhead lettuce 'Tom Thumb' normally grows to a mature height of 20.0 cm (that's 7.8 inches imperial) so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.

Your garden has dappled sun light - Butterhead lettuce 'Tom Thumb' should be planted in a location that enjoys partial sun.

Your garden has clay soil: Butterhead lettuce 'Tom Thumb' should be planted ideally in loam soil.

Remember to water often.

Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (8b) is within the ideal range for Butterhead lettuce 'Tom Thumb'. The recommended range is between Zone 4 and 9.

    I grow up(21 years) just over the border in South Wales :)

    just googled tom thumb Nasturtium and you can get them on ebay still :)
