We found this Japanese Andromeda at Home Depot and thought it would be a good addition to the Driveway. We planted it on May 31, 2008. It is a beauty!
Compact, rounded shrub, with narrowly elliptical, toothed, glossy, mid-green foliage. Terminal panicles of white flowers are clustered at the tips. Prefers fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Full sun to light shade, Blooms late winter to early spring. Zones 4b-7a. Reddish-bronze new growth. Large pure white flowers. Will grow to 4’ in 5-8 years
