Directions from package:
Sow seeds 1/4" deep in a seed-starting mix. Keep moist, not wet. Provide soil temperatures of 80-85 degrees and sun. Water with potassium nitrate (at drug store) at 1 tablespoon per 1 gallon distilled water. Germination takes 14-45 days.

What we did:
What we did:
About 6 weeks before last frost, we planted in a Planter’s Pride cell seed starter kit. This is the kit broken into 72 squares with flat discs. The discs are soaked in water and expand to reveal round individual panting “units.” We planted 1 seed per disc. The planter cell starter kit was kept near a window for sun.
